There millions of people ready to offer expert advice on any random subject, regardless of how much actual experience they have. It is especially hard to be an expert on raising children, based on two huge factors: 1. Every child is unique. 2. They are always changing. Being 3 years and 357 days old may be similar to being 3 years and 358 days old, but then being 4 and 2 days old is completely different.
After being a mother for 5+ years, I can share the following wisdom:
Just because toy tools are plastic, that does not mean that they won’t work. They will. A plastic saw will hack a chunk of wood out of a windowsill. Plastic hammers can often take the place of a real hammer.
